It truly is a wildlife-watchers paradise with an abundance of marine birds and wildlife to spot including dolphins, porpoises, seals and a huge resident flock of Brent geese who arrive every October in their search for coastal grassland – their familiar honking sound fills the sky signalling their long-awaited arrival and it really is a sight to behold.

Its unspoilt townscape and rich heritage provide a nostalgic backdrop to a thriving culture of arts and crafts, events and music festivals and is a good base from which to discover Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire.
Just up the coast sits the Cliff Hotel Restaurant & Spa with the most fabulous elevated views of Poppit Sands and Cardigan Island. The hotel also offers luxurious spa treatments and is hugely popular amongst our owners for this reason as well as their Sunday roasts and evening meals.
